Choose from a variety of scenic campsites along the Taylor River, each offering unique landscapes and stunning views. Whether you prefer riverside tranquility or forested seclusion, there’s a spot tailored to your camping preferences.

Lottis Creek Campground

Newly remodeled campground has 37 single family campsites and one group site that can accommodate 50 people. Electric hookups at most sites. Nestled along the upper section Taylor River Canyon, is perfectly situated for anglers, hikers, bikers, and off-roaders. 14 night maximum.

Cold Creek Campground

These sites are non-electric and available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Visitors are required to physically arrive at the campground to purchase and claim a site. Zero cell coverage.

Lodgepole Campground

15 non-electric campsites with access to a calm section of Taylor River. Sites are shady and equipped with a picnic table and campfire ring. Vault toilets and drinking water. Great for anglers, kayakers and rafters.

Rosy Lane Campground

This campground is right on the Taylor River bank and provides 17 single-family campsites, each with a picnic table and campfire ring. Site 008 has 15-Amp electric hookups. Site 004 is accessible. Most sites are shady.

One Mile Campground

This Taylor River accessible campground offers 23 all with electric hookups. Most sites are shady with lodgepole and aspen trees. Several sites are also accessible. WATER IS NOT AVAILABLE at this campground.

North Bank Campground

Available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Visitors are required to physically arrive at the campground to purchase and claim a site. Non-electric.

Spring Creek Campground

Available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Visitors are required to physically arrive at the campground to purchase and claim a site. Non-electric.

Granite Tent Campground

Located at the lower end of Taylor Canyon and offers easy access to fishing, rafting and rock climbing. Available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Non-electric. Off-Highway Vehicles use is not allowed in the campground.

For those yearning for a more immersive experience with nature, dispersed camping in Taylor Park is a compelling option. Scattered throughout the forested expanses, dispersed camping sites offer solitude and a primitive connection with the environment. Campers can relish the freedom to choose their camping spot, reveling in the untouched beauty of the natural surroundings.

Nights in Taylor can get very cold, below freezing and can even snow in summer time.
